Legalizing Marijuana? Governor Schwarzenegger says "...its time to study the legalizing of pot". He says it could be a good idea to legalize it and tax it. Our Governor wants to study the other countries that have done this and how it effected them. He also says that hes open to a debate for or against the legalization of pot.

WildFire concerns.

In Santa Barbara dozens of homes have been affected by the wildfire. The 2-square mile fire made more than 13,500 people evacuate from their homes. The fire is still on the loose, and the weather forecast for today (Thursday 5/7/09) could make it worse. Santa Barbara fire Capt. David Sadecki said that at one moment its under control and the next its all over the place. If the temperature and wind is the same like yesterdays, then the fires might be worse.

Swine Flu

In Harlington, Texas Judy Trunnell, 33, who had just given birth to a baby girl died of Swine Flu. Judy was a schoolteacher and she worked with disabled children. Judy spent to weeks in the hospital before going into a coma. Her baby was dilivered by C-section. Although the doctors new she had a flu, they didn't know what kind. She died on Tuesday and this came to a shock to people because all the cases have been in Mexico.

Phone News..

The iphone came in second this year. The phone ahead of it was the BlackBerry Curve AD300 series,which outsold the iphone in the first four months. Coming in third was the BlackBerry Storm, Tmobile G1, and BlackBerry Pearl.

Hulu news!

Hulu and Walt Disney are finally pairing up! Hulu will now be streaming shows like Lost and Greys Anatomy. Hulu is currently owned by NBC Universal News Corrp. and Providence Equity Partners. Disney will get 30% steak in company. But Disney Channel won't be streaming on Hulu.
